In the heart of Maremma, not far away from Pitigliano, Saturnia shows evidence of the presence of primitive men since the Bronze Age. Remains from Etruscans and Romans settlements, together with the famous spring of sulphurous water, makes this small town a landmark for thermal and archeological tourism.
The tour that we offer combines the two aspects that make Saturnia famous. It begins with a dive to the thermal waters to enjoy a moment of calm and serenity, submerged in the warmth of the sulphurous vapors: you can either access the beautiful sulphurous pool (pride of the local resort) or bath at the free Mill Falls. Late in the morning, lunch in a typical restaurant in the town center followed by an afternoon visit to the village of Saturnia to discover the remains of Etruscan and Roman era.
